This year, 2026, marks the 25th Anniversary of Westarctica's independence as a sovereign nation state. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be hosting TWO events in November.

 

The first event will be in Berwick, Pennsylvania not far from where Westarctica's founder signed the Claimant Letter in 2001. The second event will be in Dundee, Scotland at Discovery Point with the RRS Discovery, a historic sailing vessel that carried Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton on the Discovery Expedition to Antarctica in 1901.

These events are an excellent opportunity to meet your fellow Westarcticans while enjoying a catered dinner, listening to speeches, watching an awards presentation, posing for pictures with the Grand Duke, and much more. If you ever wondered what Westarctica is all about, this is a great chance to see us in action!

Previous Anniversary Celebrations were held in Hollywood, California (2016) and Charlotte, North Carolina (2021) to great acclaim of those in attendance.
